We are happy to announce that NTW opens today (Monday, June 22, 2020) for limited use under Stage 3 of the Office of Research, Research Recovery Plan. Implementing guidelines consistent with that plan, the following will apply (abridged):
- Returning researchers must complete the training on BuckeyeLearn at https://go.osu.edu/returningtocampus and complete the attestation form. After e-mailing confirmation of completion to nanotech@osu.edu, fob access will be restored.
- General lab operating hours are limited from 8AM – 8PM.
- Hand sanitizer has been placed inside the entrances to the building and lab entrances.
- At all times face coverings are to be properly worn. Gloves are to be worn in lab spaces.
- > 6 ft. social distancing is required.
- During Stage 3, lab and building occupancy is limited to 25%. Entrance to lab spaces must be reserved using the scheduler.
- Daily health status checks must be documented when visiting campus.
- Conference rooms and common area spaces are not available.
- At this time, no new user training will be scheduled.
NTW users were sent a detailed email with a complete list of policy changes and forms. If you did not receive it, please contact us.
We know that some of these new procedures will be inconvenient and communication inside the lab may be difficult. With limited lab density and hours available, it will most likely take more time to complete your processes in the lab. Therefore, please be more considerate of others. Avoid scheduling the tools and rooms for longer than required and observe social distancing procedures.
If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact any of the staff or the front desk (nanotech@osu.edu).
