In the May 2012 issue of Site Selection Magazine, the Ohio State Nanotech West Lab was mentioned, and staff member Aimee Bross Price was pictured at her Vistec EBPG 5000 electron beam lithography tool (the picture caption erroneously referred to it as a scanning electron microscope, but we’ll take the free advertising).
The article, which may be viewed at
http://www.siteselection.com/issues/2012/may/na-reports.cfm
reported on the top final FY10 research expenditures of US academic institutions. Ohio State, with $755M of total research expenditures in that fiscal year, ranked 18th in the nation. In industry-funded research, Ohio State ranked second in the nation in FY10 with slightly over $120M.
