The Nanotech West Lab community, and indeed the entire Ohio State community, mourns the passing of Dr. Lanlin Zhang Lee, a Senior Research Associate in the OSU ElectroScience Laboratory (ESL) of the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department. Lanlin succumbed last week, at the age of 31, to injuries that she sustained in a triathlon bicycling accident in Geneva, NY.
For those of us who were fortunate to make her acquaintance, Lanlin was a wonderful, intelligent person with exceptional energy and a warm friendly personality. She often used Nanotech West for electron beam lithography and associated processing for high-frequency devices and sensors.
We send our sincere and heartfelt condolences to her husband, Dr. Eugene Lee, whom many of us know; to her parents in China; and to the entire ESL and ECE staff including especially her supervisor, Prof. John Volakis, Director of ESL.
