The lab user application process includes:
Become a User
Access cutting-edge nanotechnology equipment on your terms.
1 Complete Initial Application
- Submit your contact and billing information with required signatures from you, your financial administrator, and principal investigator.
2 Safety Training
- Complete 7 Ohio State EHS online safety classes
- Finish 2 Nanotech West-specific safety courses (includes video presentations and quizzes)
- Review detailed safety orientation materials
- Ohio State Employees: Complete occupational risk assessment (if not already done)
3 Facility Orientation
- Watch the Basic Building orientation video
- Participate in an in-person tour of the specific lab rooms you'll be using
