CSZ chamber (ENV01)
NTW's new Energy Storage Lab (located in Room 106 on the first floor) has started its' buildout with the installation of a large environmental testing chamber (ENV01). While the remainder of the lab will continue to be facilitized over the coming months under the direction of Professors Jung Hyun Kim and Vicky Doan-Nguyen, the environmental chamber is now available for use. The CSZ system (model ZPHS-32-6-SCT/AC) has interior chamber dimensions of 38"W x 38"D x 38"H and is capable of a -40°C to +190°C temperature cycling range and a 10% to 98% relative humidity range. A full spectrum lighting system also enables the testing of samples under solar radiation. [This system was enabled by IMR's Materials and Manufacturing for Sustainability (M&Ms) Discovery Theme.] Materials Innovation
