Yun Wu, Ph.D.Postdoctoral Researcher, NSEC / Associate Staff Member, OSU Nanotech West LaboratoryPhone: (614) 247-4232 E-mail: wu.450@osu.edu Yun Wu is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the NSF-sponsored Nanoscale Science and Engineering Center (NSEC) for Affordable Nanoengineering of Polymeric Biomedical Devices. She conducts micro/nanofludics research for the synthesis of nanoparticles for drug/gene delivery. She is also a Nanotech West Associate Staff Member, responsible for dynamic light scattering (DLS) and Zeta potential measurement instruments.
Yun received her Ph.D in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Ohio State University in 2009. Her Ph.D research focused on aerosol formation of biocompatible micro/nanoparticle (solid lipid nanoparticles, lipoplexes, polyplexes, etc.) for various bioapplications including drug/gene delivery and cell culture medium supplementation.
Yun received her B.S. and M.S. in Polymer Materials and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in China, where her research focused on the synthesis of biodegradable superabsorbent polymer materials.
