Ph: 614-688-4213 Michael is a recent graduate of Washington University, with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Michael gained previous lab experience working as a research assistant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at WashU. At Nanotech West, Mike has responsibilities that range from the cleanroom to the Biohybrid Lab. This includes being primary staff member in charge of the Denton thermal evaporator (EVP01), the Lam 490/590 plasma etch tools (ETC01 / ETC02), and the Veeco/DI 3000 atomic force microscope (AFM01). As the primary staff member in charge of the latter, he has provided first-time AFM training for upwards of approximately 30 users. He also provides process and characterization assistance for local and remote users in projects ranging from photovoltaics and integrated electronics to bioMEMS. |
